Students Give Back on Quaker Community Day [Slideshow]

This annual tradition, organized by Director of Community Service Cristina Saens de Tejada, gives every Upper School student and teacher the chance to engage with greater Baltimore in a hands-on way.

Quaker Community Day is a day when Friends School of Baltimore students engage in community service in the surrounding community. While some students stay on campus to learn about volunteer opportunities and participate in hand-on service learning, other students choose to go off campus, to a variety of sites with which the school has partnerships, and do work within the community itself. Attached are pictures of students engaging in that volunteer work on campus and in the community on this year’s QCD, November 7th, 2023.
