My grade was robbed of freshman year because of Covid. Yes, we had online school, then school in tents. But we never saw each other, or we’d see each other at a distance, in masks. It’s hard to even think about some of the things we missed out on: Collections, sports games, Convocations, dances, and parties. We didn’t get close like we should have, and that changed our class dynamic. Making this podcast last Spring, my friends and I reminisced on things we remembered from 9th grade, and how it shaped our grade as rising seniors. Today, as we leave Friends to pursue our senior projects, it’s a time capsule.
