Members of the class of ’25 pose for a photo at the third annual Senior Sunrise.

On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the Friends class of 2025 came together to celebrate the start of their senior year.

Students arrived around 6:30 am, and gathered on the turf to enjoy the sunrise together. Seniors brought their cameras and dressed in their class color, pink, to take pictures with friends and classmates.

Student leadership provided some breakfast foods and drinks. Dean of student life Travis Henschen, senior class grade dean Josh Carlin, and head of school Christian Donovan all attended.

After taking pictures for a short time, students convened around their head of school while he gave a speech encouraging students to “make their mark” and enjoy the time they have left.

After Christian spoke, students moved from the turf onto the quad, and took pictures with the senior class banners that they had made the day before.

She is involved in activities around the school such as managing different sports, the Upper School chorus, Crochet for a Cause, and more. In her spare time, she also enjoys photography, music, and traveling. She enjoys reading and has been writing more often lately.
